Why we introduce you to one vetted firm

Many “compare quotes” sites pass the same enquiry to several companies. We do not.

The problem with shared leads

When your details go to four or five firms, your phone rings repeatedly, firms rush to quote before they have properly looked at your home, and the cheapest quote is not always the best one.

What we do instead

• Each enquiry goes to one firm only, and only once a match is made.
• We tell you plainly which firm it is.
• We do not sell your details or pass them round a list.
• You are not committing to anything, and you can still get other quotes if you want to.

What “vetted” means here

A person at CANDAI checks and records each of the following before a firm can receive enquiries:

• Its company number matches its Companies House record.
• We have seen its insurance.
• We have seen a relevant accreditation for the work, for example TrustMark, MCS or PAS 2035 where they apply.
• Its reviews meet our minimum on a public review site.

A firm that stops meeting these can be suspended and then receives no further enquiries. Among eligible firms covering your postcode and upgrades, we choose the highest-rated match. How much a firm might pay CANDAI is not part of that choice.

What we cannot do

We cannot guarantee any firm’s work. Your contract is with the firm, not with us. Vetting reduces risk but does not remove it, so read the quote, ask the questions on our upgrade pages, and check any guarantees.

How we are paid

You pay CANDAI nothing. A firm we introduce may pay CANDAI a fee for introductions. See our terms.

If we do not have a firm for you yet

Are there vetted firms in your area? We are onboarding vetted firms in your area and will tell you honestly if we cannot match you yet. If we cannot, we will say so straight away, keep your request safely, and not pass your details to anyone until we can match you to one vetted, verified firm.
