Terms of use

Last updated: 2 October 2026.

1. About the service

NRG+ Trusted by CANDAI is run by CANDAI, 143 Delaneys Road, Manchester, M8 4RE. It lets homeowners pick energy upgrades they are interested in, shows indicative costs and savings, and introduces them to one vetted, verified firm where one is available.

2. Estimates are not a quote or an EPC

Costs, savings and EPC point changes we show are indicative ranges for a typical UK home. They are not a quote, survey or EPC, and results for your home may differ. Only an accredited domestic energy assessor can issue an EPC. Nothing here is financial, survey or legal advice.

3. Firms we introduce

A firm is introduced to you only if it has been checked and the checks recorded: company number matched to Companies House, insurance seen, a relevant accreditation seen, and reviews checked against our minimum. We introduce you to one firm only. If we have no such firm for your postcode and upgrades we will tell you and will not pass your details on. Firms are independent. We cannot guarantee any firm’s work, and your contract for any work is with the firm, not with us.

4. How we are paid

You do not pay us anything to use NRG+ Trusted by CANDAI. A firm that we introduce to you may pay CANDAI a fee for introductions. The price for any work is agreed between you and the firm, and we do not add a charge to it. Which firm we introduce you to is decided by the checks, the postcode and upgrades it covers and its reviews, not by what it might pay us. Ask the firm anything about its price before you agree to any work.

5. Acceptable use

Give accurate information. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other people’s data, submit false enquiries, or use the service to build lists of homes or contact details.

6. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your legal rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not a reasonable and foreseeable result of our breach, or for business losses.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you keep any rights you have to use your local courts.
